Description

Naturally Aged Flooring offers, in its Medallion Collection, a medium toned floor with plenty of personality. Stony Brook is a rich caramel hardwood that creates a sense of warmth and can accommodate many different interior styles. If your style leans towards rustic, farmhouse, old world or Mediterranean this is a perfect jumping off point for you. The warm honeyed wood goes with multiple styles of colors of cabinets and furnishings. It is a classic color that can make even large spaces feel cozy and comfortable.

Engineered hardwood floors are a long lasting investment. Medium toned floors in particular, are highly regarded for resale. Stony Brook has a medium amount of knots with black fill, and the variation of color from light to dark give each board its own individual look. Low gloss floors such as Stony Brook are exceptionally popular due to their forgiving characteristics and from-nature appearance. The UV cured top layer gives this floor protection and durability for a busy household. Wire-brushing is even and consistent with light scraping and chatter, these treatments allow the complex grain and the beauty of this hickory floor to make a statement. The boards are 7 1/2″ wide with random length boards varying 2′ to 6′ giving each installation a personalized look.

Floors set the tone of a room and, with its versatility, Stony Brook allows your imagination to take off and gives your home a distinctive look and feel. Each board is unique and its individuality make this floor a dream to work with. Using a blend of natural materials and textures you can achieve an organic refined look in your home. Interior architectural elements such as exposed beams, stone and textured wall treatments paired with wide plank floor boards are a winning combination. You can’t go wrong with an expensive-looking floor with this much character.
